1.Shilpa Shetty :

~ Actress Shilpa Shetty never fails to hit the headlines , be it the case of 'Spa scam' or her husband 'Raj Kundra's porn OTT case'...In the year 2007, Hollywood actor Richard Gere was reportedly caught 'smooching' Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty repeatedly during an AIDS-awareness event which created a huge controversy back then.

~Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra owned a cricket team 'Rajasthan Royals' in the Indian Premier League, Raj kundra reportedly got caught in a match-fixing case and was in contact with seven bookies and placed bets on his team.In the year 2015, Kundra was banned from the series for lifetime.

~Shilpa was a participant in the Big Brother show , a racist comment was passed on by co-contestant Jade Goody in the show at Shilpa Shetty , this created a lot of trouble and Goody had to later apologize to Shilpa and the entire Indian audience.

~In the year 2009, Shilpa had visited the Sakhigopal temple and a priest had kissed her on her cheeks,with no time the picture of the priest kissing her went viral and Shilpa commented,"if a father cannot kiss his daughter....?"

~Before Shilpa was married to Raj kundra , her current husband had an ex-wife 'Kavita Kundra',after Raj and Kavita got separated , she had blamed Shilpa for their broken marriage.

~Shilpa and her husband were caught in a real estate scandal involving Dawood Ibrahim's aide Iqbal Mirchi and were questioned for nine hours.

~In the year 2006, a non-bailable warrant was issued against Shilpa shetty by the Madurai court for posing for a bold photoshoot.

~During the Raj Kundra pornography case, adult actress Sherlyn Chopra reportedly had given her statement to the Mumbai Police that she had hired Arms Prime Pvt Ltd to make the Sherlyn Chopra App and that the directors of Arms Prime were Saurabh Kushvah and Raj Kundra... Sherlyn reportedly alleged that the income that was generated from the Sherlyn Chopra app was to be shared equally between Arms Prime Pvt Ltd and her but she never received her share of the income,even Shilpa had apparently given her statement in which she has said that she was too busy with her own work and hence was not aware about what Kundra was up to...Sherlyn took to social media and said that according to some media reports Shilpa was saying that she wasn’t aware of the nefarious activities of her husband and also she has no information about the movable and immovable assets of her husband,she even went on to question the authenticity of how true her statement was.

2. Sanjay Dutt :

~Famous Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt had served a jail time of at least 5 years after being sentenced for imprisonment due to his alleged involvement in the March 19,1993 Mumbai serial blast case by the C.B.I i.e Central Bureau of Investigation, Bombay , which was based on a series of 12 bomb blasts that took place in Mumbai on March 12th.These attacks were orchestrated and are still known as one of the worst and the most destructive bomb blasts in the history of India. Moreover, this was the first finely coordinated serial bomb explosions on a global level.This case is well-known as Sanjay Dutt vs. State through C.B.I Bombay.

~Sanjay Dutt has been very vocal about his drug addiction on Simi Garewal's chat show.Infact at the India Today Conclave 2016, the actor revealed an incident that had taken place when he was under the influence of LSD, a psychedelic drug. 

3. FARDEEN KHAN :

Fardeen Khan, son of veteran actor Feroz Khan who had worked in films like Fida, No Entry, Heyy Babyy ,Ek khiladi ek haseena is another face of Bollywood that the media yet remembers.Although of the fact that he had a short Bollywood career, following which he completely disappearing from the limelight and Bollywood industry. Fardeen was addicted to drugs for which he was arrested by Mumbai Police on May 5, 2001. The actor was caught with 9 gm of cocaine. Fardeen had to undergo a detoxification course to get rid of the habit in the same year. 

4. BHARTI SINGH AND HAARSH LIMBACHIYAA :

Last year in 2020, Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa were arrested after a round of questioning by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and there was recovery of drugs from her residence during a raid. Both of them confessed to having consumed cannabis (ganja).The NCB said in a statement, “In follow-up and in corroboration with previous inputs, NCB raided two places on 21st November,2020 including production office and house of actor-comedian Ms Bharti Singh and from both the places, 86.5 gms of ganja was recovered. Both Ms Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiya accepted consumption of ganja. Ms Bharti Singh was placed under arrest as per the provisions of NDPS Act 1986 and examination of her husband Harsh Limbachiya is underway.

5. SALMAN KHAN :

~Bollywood actor Salman Khan was acquitted in the 1998 Arms Act case by the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Jodhpur district. The Bollywood actor was accused of possessing and using firearms with an expired license.

Salman Khan's petition for suspension of his jail term was heard on July 17,2018,the actor appeared in a trial court in Jodhpur where he had to fight against his five-year jail sentence for killing endangered blackbucks in 1998.Finally Salman Khan was granted bail by a district and sessions court in Jodhpur on April 7,2018 in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case in which he was sentenced to five years in jail on April 5,2018.

On September 28, 2002, Salman Khan’s Land Cruiser crashed into a bakery. The crash resulted in the injury of four homeless people and the death of one. Salman Khan fled the scene of the crime. Charges of culpable homicide were made against him, but for some reason they were later dropped. It was not until 2013 that formal charges were made against him, to which he pleaded vehemently not guilty. 

The Bollywood industry has been recently quiet infamous for many mysterious causes, be it the death of an aspiring new comer in the industry or be it a murder conspiracy, drug cartel, star-kids and nepotism, links with the underworld mafia. Bollywood and the people associated to it never fail to hit the eyes of the media and limelight , no matter what it is , a complicated real and reel life or any legal or illegal controversies.
