Arbaaz Merchant's application for bail, questions presented at NCB's investigation
NCB officials arrested Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan and seven others last Saturday after raiding a rave party on a cruise bound for Goa. The NCB remand of Aryan Khan in the drug case expires today (October 7). His friends Arbaaz Merchant and Moonmoon Dhamecha, who were arrested along with Aryan, are also due to be remanded in custody.

All three were produced in court this afternoon and the trial is still ongoing. Meanwhile, Arbaaz Merchant's lawyers have filed an application for his bail in the Fort Court. The NCB had earlier clarified that the bail of all the three accused would also be opposed by the NCB on Thursday. "Yesterday, a foreign national was arrested in the case and we feel that all the three accused need to be re-arrested," the agency said.
Demand for investigation of CCTV footage
According to a news agency, another petition has also been filed by Arbaaz Merchant's lawyers. It also called for an investigation into CCTV footage of the cruise ship. Based on the footage, NCB officials on the cruise demanded an investigation into whether Arbaaz had actually found any drugs, or whether the drugs had been kept there.
Foreign drug supplier arrested in Bandra

NCB officials have found a large quantity of MD drug in the possession of the arrested foreign national. Authorities now suspect that the alleged drug supplier may have links to Aryan and Arbaaz.
