A severe tornado warning has been issued for Milwaukee, Washington and Jefferson County until 12:45 p.m. Tuesday.
We will start with partly cloudy sky, then a series of storms are likely over the area during the afternoon. Overall serious risk is low, but strong winds, heavy rain and frequent lightning will likely occur. A cold front then gives us a chill this evening. The lows drop to the 50s tonight.
Apart from a slight chance of scattered showers on Wednesday, the rest of the week is looking great. We will have lots of sunshine over the weekend. Midweek high temperatures will be in the 70s, but are likely to return to the 80s by Friday. Another brief round of thunderstorms is possible Saturday night.
