India vs England Highlights, 4th Test, Day 1: England trail India by 138 runs, end the day at 53/3. Rory Burns and Haseeb Hammad could not last long as Jasprit Bumrah dismissed both the England openers in the same over. Joe Root and David Malan put on 46 runs before Umesh Yadav took the big wicket of the England captain. Earlier, India were all out for 191 in which Chris Woakes took four and Olly Robinson took three wickets. Shardul Thakur produced a blazing half-century off just 31 balls and shared a 50-plus partnership with Umesh for India's eighth wicket. Ajinkya Rahane faced another low score, getting out for 47 as India were kept precariously at 122/6 at tea. England took the big wicket of Virat Kohli - the 27th of his Test career - and his second successive half-century of the series after the India captain scored a fifty off 85 balls. India were 54/3 at lunch break before England started the second session, Woakes took his second wicket and sent back Ravindra Jadeja. India's openers did well to score 28 runs in the first seven overs, but pacers Woakes, Ollie Robinson and James Anderson took three quick wickets together.
